Stop in for a cup of coffee

Took the Dart out for a late drive to the gas station and I’ll be damn the lights are working now. It’s amazing what a fuse will do. Getting her tuned in had the timing light on it and it’s timed I’m going to make a short video on YouTube of it running and a walk around I’ll post the link.

Nice!

Wow! It’s supposed to be 70* tomorrow and 77* on Wednesday!

Almost too warm for this time of year...it’s really going to mess up the trees if it gets a lot colder later.

Heavy fog here tonight too. It’s supposed to be worse tomorrow night. The Delaware river and bay are still really cold and the warm air is building a ridiculous marine fog layer.

Muffler in place and of course had to add a chrome tip

Check this...

There is a new guy at work that started last week... They trained him on first shift, tonight was his first day on our shift...

Less than an hour from the end of our shift he TELLS ME to band the box that he just packed from one of the saws... :icon_fU: :icon_fU: :icon_fU:

This is after he was BS'ing with one of the saw operators for 10 minutes while I was taking care of the stuff from the other two workers and five saws.... :wtf:

I've handled unloading the two fast saws, and also done some of the other 5 saws by myself in the past and this ***-wipe thinks he can camp out on one of the fast saws.... :realcrazy:

I kept doing what I was doing and he banded it himself....

If he would have asked nicely, I would have helped him when I got my stuff under control... But you don't tell me what to do, especially after slacking off and it's your first day on our shift.... :mob:

At the beginning of our shift, one of the department leads came and shook my hand and said goodbye... He just quit...

I've worked for him a few times in his department and he liked me... He was a good guy, but is sick of the BS treatment from management and came in to quit today....

He looked so happy, like someone who just got released from prison....

I hate to see him leave, he was a good guy... But I can't ask him to stay on my behalf... I will miss him, but fully understand why he's leaving and hope the best for him....

So now on our shift, 3 out of 4 departments do not have a lead person.... :wtf:

Step up and take charge? With a commensurate pay increase of course

Good morning everybody!
-16 this morning.
Rolled 318 back to its parking spot and started packing all the leftovers. Will set it on a pallet and set it into storage. Will be picking away at heads and get to putting engine together.
Need to remember some etching primer today.
