Hid driver called him from here , right after it happened. So the customer came straight here to see for himself... I tried not to laugh.. But, it was funney seeing Levon, chase after the car.. He got the pass door open.... About a tenth of a sec before it hit the tree..The sudden stop threw him againt the open door, and he crumpled up under the door, like a wad of paper. He got right up though..Then he started to cry... I was like WTF? man?

Oh yeahh.. there is always more to a story on that tree... When my son was new at wrenching, He did a disc brake job in the lift bay. He sets the car on the ground, opens the overhead door, fires the car up, puts it in reverse, hits the gas.... Uh Oh ...Guess What??? No brakes , cause he didn't pump em after pushing in the caliper pistons... That tree stopped him tho...

Had a similar thing happen,service writer trying to rush jobs through,jumped in a car i finished a brake job.i was cleaning up and he took it upon himself to back it out. Dunno why. I needed to road test it. He didnt wreck the car.but the look on his face as it rolled out across laneway and through the ditch was priceless.

So Mitch....you say you drove it to the truck, right? So Mitch would it be safe to say you were the last to drive the car? So Mitch...I know you were not looking ahead right? In other words the fact that the car hit the tree and NOT the Belvedere could possibly be your fault. Sure sure it was going down the hill...that was in the stars. But if you were looking ahead you could have turned the wheels just right, JUST in case it came loose. Boom T Bone! SO have you learned from this experience?
