for a slant i have...starter motor...coils...any anything else that switches between the slant and SB lol electric fuel pumps if you're really stretching.lolI will do that for sure! Mine has a little /6 in her that I plan to keep in it. I think the only other thing so far I have to get for it to drive it is the exhaust manifold gasket. She is leaking a bit there. So far.... we all know how that goes!!!
Speaking of that the Beagle finally had to go down last night the kid waited just to long it was pretty ugly. Hey I warned him a few months ago it was time.Dagnabit, coffee cup is empty and time to shoot the dog. Back in a bit.

I have done it many times and its 50/50 if they split the manifold. Sure Memi has the most experience with them.
If you are going to change the intake/exhoust gasket, you will need an inch lb TQ wrench.. I bought brand new brass nut's for my /6 when I did it, got them at Ace hardwareI have a set of used washers and nuts if needed they do rot out pretty good.

The Viper is a perfect example.But parts availablility will be similar - especially on the lower volume vehicles. Even pollution and safety items, after X-number of years they don't have to have them available. If there's no profit, no incentive to make another production run.
