Would have to make sure wheel is dead straight,theres only a few reasons why there would be a difference from side to side.
Worst case-bent frame/k-member

Best case-one wheel has a different offset.
Or theres a spacer on one side.

So my buddy didnt buy it.

Should never be off by that much. Regardless what they did, they should have done same to both sides. I could see maybe half inch from frame, fender etc being off. The lower corner where it is actually rubbing can move a lot if the braces are missing or bent. Does it drive, steer, track OK? I'd be looking for accident damage if it's really off that much. A proper alignment would find any issues there.

Yes it drives and steers ok. Just rubs when you turn the wheel left or right because the tires are too wide or tall. I don’t believe it was ever in an accident either. I know it’s old and won’t ride smooth down the road like a car these days, so maybe my expectations are too high lol

Yeah but the tires shouldn't be offset that much. Do you have a picture by chance?

Tune up on rincoln...
Didnt quite nail it. Didnt get one coul plug on properly. Back side under throttle body:BangHead:was making good time until that moment. a little silicone grease in connector would have been better before i put upper intake back on.
Got it done and no mis-fire.
 
Geo tracker,clutch pedal broke off the shaft. Pull seat, fight with welder and hope to not set anything good on fire. Just have to put seat back in. Tough welding down side up. No gloves no helmet and no room to escape if i drop a hot blob. :bs_flag:Job at best. Hope it doesent break.
