Stop in for a cup of coffee

Finally some good news at work. The senior project manager took a new job and resigned today.

This woman is someone that I have known for 25 years and can’t stand working with her. Our CEO hired her about 6 months ago without asking anyone. She has been a pain in my side in the 3 different places that we have worked together and in my last job I had her fired from working on any of my projects...but she never knew it.

Her being gone make my work life just a bit more tolerable.

She is the kind of person who asks about where you are going on vacation and then invites her and her family to come visit you when you are there.

She is the kind of project manager that stands next to someone doing expert work and then takes it upon herself to explain to everyone else in the room what you are doing...even though she has no clue what it is.

She is the kind of person who takes someone to the hospital for open heart surgery and then tells everyone she was assisting in the procedure.

You get the idea...
Someone who’s great at taking Credit for some one else’s work.

My best friend’s sister is something like that.
Its never “we” or us or they..
Its I ME..
So she is referred to as I ME..
Never did an honest days work in her life, but talks like she built her house with her own two hands. Hubby has the money.

Yeah, we secretly call her MeMe... me and me.

Oh boy, we are in a juicy rainfall pattern. They are now predicting rain every day from now through next Thursday at least. Better than 60% each day and most of the days over 70% with heavy rainfall expected when it does happen. 80%+ for the next few days.

Good thing I live near the top of a 200’ granite ridge.

I saw the flooding in Harrisburg tonight on the news. Hard to imagine, we were just there a couple weeks ago.

Evening all. I survived the county fair with two toddlers and a crippled wife(toddlers were the easy part of those three).

Spent more money than I should. Plus my wife came home with 6/7 gold fish... so it's now midnight, kids have to be up in 6 hours and guess where those three are... playing with the fish

You never had the privilege of visiting Ft Irwin? Just a stones throw away from Death Valley. Land of Creosote, Cactus, dry lakes, poison springs, and heat stroke.

Nope. My goal is whenever the dart is finished, her maiden cruise will be the entire Route 66 trip. From Chicago to LA, then up the Pacific Coast Highway, then US Route 50 all the way back home

I won a goldfish for my little sister, she got so attached, when "Julie" died my Dad disposed of the evidence and said "Julie's at the vet," then went and bought home a lookalike goldfish, "Julie's all better now." This happened several times, till she finally died for good. We never mention Julie. Just letting you know Chris how kids can be with goldfish.

Morning. Cool here this morning.
No work today, dr’s appointments. In the city. Not a fan.

Hoping to mess with a few distribs in the shop today. Yesterday was kind of interesting around here with all the rain.

I bet. Man we had probably the best night in the 30 plus years I've been going to that fair. 70-74 all afternoon and evening, clear skies. Felt like early April... yet it wasn't packed. I mean it was from about 5-8, after that, crowd went down 75 percent.

Well looks like the backyard river is finally going down. This sucks glad the house is on a slight rise on the property!
