Well color me surprised. So the polara has power steering... from an A abody. Apparently the brackets are different and the A abody v belt is a full 1 inch shorter than the B body v belt. So I ordered the wrong belt. Oh well. Looks like tomorrow's test drive will be with manual steering

Probably not from an A body, Parts books are wrong lots of time, especially when it comes to "V" belts.
