Stop in for a cup of coffee

Gas prices like in the 70's is hitting the millennials, I bet they would not stand in line for hours for five gallons and no facebook!

Stainless steel screws to come out too?
I think hers are titanium. But no, there's 26 on them and 4 plates. All stay put.
its not burning a hole in my pocket but I have the money for sure. I just ordered a bunch of stuff for my duster.

This is why I work a lot of overtime is to be able to play car. It's a privilege but I work for it in an honest way so why not :)

Why not focus on the Duster instead of starting another project???

Hey Ray... :welcome:

Do you think Rani should buy another car/project????

I have done it before because I am not a flipper and I don't believe in flipping.

I don't see it as "losing" money either because entertainment costs. If someone wants to count "lost" money then you count drinking, seeing movies, paying money for cruises. There is nothing tangible left after those things. Paying 2K for a car and having years of fun and passing it on to someone else is hardly "losing" anything

On one hand, I want to warn you based on my experience and bad habits of having more than 1 project car. On the other, I know you and I are the same age. Lord willing, we'll have many years of car building ahead. But these cars in project shape are getting fewer and fewer.
If you can afford it and want it, I'd go for it. And I love the concept you described about it being a "waste of money". If I had a penny for every time I've heard that about my project cars, especially the polara, including by other car guys/gals, I'd have more money than Elon Musk. There's far worse ways to "waste money".

Elon Musk is not a good example for making money... Tesla lost $$$$$ this year....

However, he's a good example for wasting money...

There is a disassembled 426 wedge close I would seriously be interested in just not the time to do it. $1500!!!!!!!!

honestly, I think Musk is gonna run Tesla into the ground. Those cars are in entry supercar price territory. They need to broaden their base if they want to grow.

That's entirely too high for a run of the mill 426 wedge motor. Can buy them all day long for less than 300.

We could make a blow-up sex doll of ourselves and put in in the driver's seat of a car launched into space....

Morning folks. I envy Rani. Lots of space, fair amount of disposable income and young enough to actually 'get around to finishing it'. I'd buy it if i were in her shoes. My feet would hurt, but I'd have another mopar.

Think Mitch is looking for a low deck cross ram if you can find one under 500 or so.
