Don't know about their silverware, but the plates and stuff used to be local here. As far as I know, (if they are still in business) it is now 100% import.:(
Yep. Our stuff was made in China. Figures.

I made me tool cabinet to keep band saw, belt sander, mitre saw, chop saw etc.. The little woman found me some Mopar Knobs at Hobby Lobby. Pretty cool..

Pretty relaxing day here, we worked last night and it was busy, wore me out, couldn't even see myself going to a Labor Day crab boil at my boss's house. Finally I jumped on my bike and went for a dip in the ocean, that always helps chase away the body aches.

I need something to look forward to. Got to checking transatlantic cruises, good deals when they reposition the ships. Discount airfare to Portugal, two ports but otherwise 12 days out in the Atlantic, end up in Miami where my sister lives. Viking looks like the best, beer and wine included, you can go in the hot and cold spa areas for free, they even have a room with snow oozing from the ceiling. Ships are new and only 900 passengers max. Maybe next year.

I couldn't do one, I am not the captain and I don't know the cleaning staff, germs are a bad thing for me

I hear you on that, Mike. I'd have to clean the room myself (there would be time!) I get the impression the staff is more professional than most, many are Norwegian and they are paid better and treated better than other companies. They have hand sinks in the public areas. But yes I'd be a little squeamish of those overcrowded cruise ships with kids running around. The passengers are even older than most, and I love talking to old people. They don't even allow kids. Also they don't allow those scooters, I guess too many of those could be very disruptive.

I have never been on a cruise, my brothers have, all 4 of them, I was busy enjoying dirt track racing and bass fishing, my wife was in to herb gardening so we never wanted to I guess.

Whew!

This image took nearly everything I had to get it to work out.

7 hours, 38 layers, 18 versions...and (I think) it’s finally done.

I always seem to pick the most challenging ones to work with on my days off from work...LOL!

Thanks Mike.

I do it because it is my passion and it should always be a challenge so that I get better at it.

One day, this will be my next career and I want to be on the top of my game when it happens.

It is the only thing that keeps me sane amidst the madness of my current work World...and something I will likely never retire from once I start doing it for a living.
