Nice! I've got a stack of stuff I'll likely be sending this spring.Morning...hey used the plating guy in MN I told you about again. I've forgotten was it running when you put it in the shop??Finally ordered the rest of the seals I needed for the Cuda. Napa was the cheapest and free to the store I have a account with. Look at them when you need stuff, usually about the same as RA but no shipping.
Right now he said is a slow time of year for them so the return was about 10 days. Oh he doesn't talk much. Other than the first call telling him what I wanted done, the phone calls were a minute or less. You can tell he hates interruptions.Nice! Still runs fine waiting for the last minute to pull the engine. Prob going to drop it so I can re paint the k member. Everything is getting new seals. Have a water pump rebuild kit for it also it has a slow weep. Should be a 80 point car when I am done. The right parts are a pia. seals/gaskets I am not worried about being nos. Only real concern I have is if the engine needs to be boiled out flushed it twice still rusty water in it. If so prob re do the head with hardened seats that will be the only non oem thing done to it.I've forgotten was it running when you put it in the shop??
Nice! I'd send the stuff now but this time of the year, all expendable funds go towards gifts, though we're spending far less than we did last year. We go carried away last year a bit, spent WAY WAY too much and hurt us budget wise for about 3 months to feel comfortable againRight now he said is a slow time of year for them so the return was about 10 days. I bet it does! Especially the Bushing toolsHave to start on the suspension soon, have all the bushings. Just hate that crap but at least I have all the Chrysler tools to do it with, makes it way easier!
Can prob steal a couple from the parts car. They are dry rotted on this one.I do want to find new boots for the ball joints, tie rod ends and the torsion bars. They are not easy to find individually nos/oem.
Nice!!!! I did my Chargers front without those special tools and well, let's just say that played a factor in deciding on the coil over conversion. I destroyed two LCAs trying to push the bushings in with a press.
