I had a JVC RZX500B receiver that had .003% total harmonic distortion at 100 watts per channel with 4 speakers... It was the first generation of digital receivers and can still hold it's own against today's equipment...

My best friend Jeff worked at a Fretter Electronics store back then and showed me the Fisher 844's when they were on sale from $350 to $126... He showed me a set on the showroom floor and took the grille off and tapped on the 15" woofer and a loose thread on my coat shoulder was moving from him tapping on the woofer...

It's cold out. 15 degrees with a wind. I went outside to look for and bring the cat in and get some stuff out of the car.

The car is frosty and now my earrings feel frozen against the side of my face. ...... dang it's cold

I don't know about all the numbers and percentages and all that.

I just go by if it sounds good. LoL

I lay in front of the woofer and feel the bass drops. Feels like it goes right through your chest and repaces your heart. It's great

Distortion is what blows speakers... You want as low of distortion as you can get...

.003% is actually .00003 total harmonic distortion... That means the music is crisp and clear at 100 watts and below....

I've also watched nearly every Gettysburg documentary made in the last 30 years.

Do the Civil war museum in HB also, just a few hours, easily do it and get back to Carlisle well worth it.
 
Friday and sat are the big days at the fairgrounds, Sunday the deals like Mitch said. Tons of military stuff in the area. Hell the Army Heritage museum is next door also. I have never been there myself, looks pretty cool just driving by it a ton of static displays outside from all eras.

I took my daughter to the tank muesuem here last Sunday. She named the tanks mommy, daddy, and baby tanks based on size. Was funny
 
Happy Friday Folks. Balmy 8° this AM. Makes me want to call in and sit by a nice wood fire.
