Was bringing back to my shop, a few years ago, I had a 383 block in my Vega wagon. Stopped in for a beer, got into a friendly conversation, told them I had a Vega with a 383 in it. AND it was in the back! Got lots of free beer after making a bet to the same, and them coming out to see.
Well duh! it must have been a chromed block!!!And what does that have to do with adding chrome?

That tool man character was a real challenge to recreate. I could only find two poor images that used it...ended up drawing it by hand.

I saw the Vega pickup on the other side of town is for sale now. Looks like $900 in the windshield but I couldn’t be sure since it’s off the road a bit.

A friend had a 2 door Comet wagon I knew he would never do anything with. Dad had a '63 Merc Colony Park wagon that had electrical issues and was just parked. I wanted to put the 430 Lincoln/Mercury out of the Colony Park in the back of that little Comet wagon I was 18 Couldn't get either one of them to buy into that scenario
