Where am i going to find a 2 groove alternator pulley? I had a collection, and at one point i could order but that supplier had gone by the wayside.
Belt is tight like e-flat piano wire and its squeals when i start truck. Thinking dual pulley is the answer, and i could back off tension a smidge,to take pressure off water pump and alternator bearings.

Could the belt be to narrow, and not getting a good bite on the pulley? Chased that on my Barracuda.

A late check in for me. Had some coffee with the local group, went out to the new place and dragged the trash cans out to the street.
Came back to the house, started laundry, paid some bills, and made a couple phone calls.

Agree. AND the rear window clips!!!! Still!!!! I put a return line to the tank in with an electric fuel pump. BUT it takes a filter with a bypass outlet that faces the tank. Most filters the bypass faces the carb.

Im suprised none of you called me out on not working on my truck today. Somehow it wiggled its way into the shop and is getting an armrest on passenger seat. It’s not a prefect match,but im after function not prefection.

Got some more parts today. Anti sway setup and filter. Now some hose and ready to light this candle!!

Still making new secondary wires. Had copper core wires. Thinking might be issue with GV electronics. And MSD type box

Got a set of wires From blue print engines, has there logo on them....cool....
