Stop in for a cup of coffee

 Just thought of sumthin'. If I find the right parkin' spot just outside the fairgrounds, I can sit in the Hemi Express and listen to 38 Special without all the trouble of goin' to the Fair  Be a lot more comfy than those arena seats

Now have the majority of the rest of the dash, heater box, swing pedals, etc. unbolted from in the cabin. Just about ready to go to the stripper. I'll leave all the stuff inside of the car, since I need all of my tables for Carlisle. I'll address it when I get back. The heater box has a small chunk out of the lower right side vent. I guess somebody kicked it in the car. Hoping I can graft a piece on there to make it look good later.

Looks good Mitch.

Had one of them kittys in the back yard a couple yeas ago, hot day. Water frim garden hose is 35 degrees. When that sucker turned around and lifted its tail, it got the icewater treatment. It didnt stick around long after that.

Weatherstrip on drivers door almost done. I hope i got it right, as i did passenger door the same way it came off and hardly seals at all. Now the big question, will the door close without a drop kick?

In the past, when installing weatherstrip, I adhere it and let it set for a few days to be sure it dont come off. Learned that on a Corvette I restored 42 years ago.....

Yup. I agree. Im letting it sit for a couple hours with door closed. I hope heat and humidity help with curing, because we have both

Move on to moving shed. Set dollys up under shed. All going smooth. Until i let shed down. Flat tires. Now a couple have slipped off the beads. Dumbass.

Fire Update. The Press says that the Pedophile Palace/Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch may be in the path of the Lake Fire. With this calm weather we're having the fire is spreading in all directions. Still quite a ways from any major residential areas.

Made a bit more progress on my tree stump. That sucker is slow but sure disappearing. Gotta do a couple store runs. Later gonna continue with shelf I am making for new water pump that I will eventually install,,,
Did Tim get to Carlisle yet? :steering:

Ok so an oil change for the dart also turned into a diff fluid change. It took me pretty much all day which I know it shouldn’t have but I did it. Overall the gears aren’t bad. Eventually I will need to change them since they have some pitting on them but it will hold for now.

Especially for a first look, cleaning and then getting everything dry so the gasket seals, that's not surprising it took a chunk of the day.

Better than my day Steph, I didn't get much done around here.
Same here. Too much time here spent trying to be helpful, and a run to the supermarket, and little cleaning. Didn't make it to the garage at all. I lose 40 minutes going there and back. Hopefully Thursday I can get the car out. Would like to take it Carlisle. We'll see.
