They seem to have their own priorities, whether they're based in fact or not.

I go to shop on Melrose. Vista smog I think it's called. Or north county smog. Just south of Oceanside Blvd on Melrose. Just over tracks on east side

The bearing splitter/puller i ordered wouldn't work.. ended up ordering the clamshell type which are supposed to pull the bearing without dmg.. gonna hone the old bearing to use as a setup bearing
Score.New big pinion bearing showed up... ordered a timken, was told they are made in china now.. this one still says made in the usa on it
