In da' crate Willys!
Can't beat that. (with a pool cue)Here ya go @Frodee . We had a great visit with Craig and the tax collector! We shot many games of pool, thanks @memike And there was considerable sipping going on. Thanks @lkopaska ! Craig may have accidentally went home with a mason jar of transmission fluid. Just a great visit as always. Cheryl had to line our wheels a time or two but she did not swat either of us with a hockey stick!

I gave my 60s vintage surfboard to my brat when she late teens and took up surfin'. She took the board to a friend of ours to get reworked. I think she still has it in Phx. Might need it when I find my wagon. In da' crate Willys!

Both are local Super Stock cars. If I am not mistaken, the red car is a 383 and the white one is a 361.Love the looks of that race car. The good photos are always red lights. LOL

Ever panned for gold in "them thar' hills"?My 50th High School Reunion was 4 weeks ago in the old desert homeland. I skipped it for health reasons. I knew a couple of my best buds weren't going. Only person I was looking forward to seeing was a gal I knew that inherited her family decorative rock company. She was almost a miner like me .
My first paying job was on a mining claim. $10 per hour cash, 2 days worth. Owner had to do work to it and spend money on it to keep the claim.Ever panned for gold in "them thar' hills"?
Would be fun to pan for gold, I've never tried it.My first paying job was on a mining claim. $10 per hour cash, 2 days worth. Owner had to do work to it and spend money on it to keep the claim.

I did that on a trip to Alaska years ago. I was fun, but probably not fun if you needed to make a living at it....Would be fun to pan for gold, I've never tried it.
Couple of laborers I knew when we worked on the Shuttle complex used to do it on weekends. One of them found a pretty good nugget one weekend and was showing it off at work. He was standing on the launch mount forms before we poured the concrete and he dropped the nugget into the formed area. Talkin' 50' deep and 100'x100' and loaded with rebar every 18" . He sent his entire laborer crew in through the side to try and find that nuggetWould be fun to pan for gold, I've never tried it.
