My best bud's Dad had a Roadrunner, 68 or 69, bench seat, column shift, dog dish hub caps, Dana 60, little fake hood scoops that said HEMI in letters about an inch tall. His dad was almost 70 when we were closin' in on 16. Just about the time buddy got old enough for his learner's permit, the Roadrunner was gone  and replaced by a more door Dart with a slanty in it. Mr B was no dummy, he had no intention of letting us have our way with that Hemi  "Gas is getting expensive. I want better gas mileage." $.30/gallon :BangHead:

My Mom did same thing with me only w/ a 55 Chevy

Morning dreamers. 55 is gone off to its new home in South Dakota a $300 insurance refund coming. I don't think we have any baseball collectors in here, but I did score a 1970 & 1978 Topps complete baseball card set both in mint set. I'd bought from the seller before and we've talked a lot. He gave me a great deal and practically gave me the 78 set. Car parts to cards haha!!

Well the misses wants to hit the road early, prolly cause we're going to IKEA after the car show. We are stopping in the International District (Chinatown) for lunch, Bruce Lee used to dine there and there's a "Bruce Lee" table, tons of pics etc. Oldest Chinese rest. in Seattle, 1935 I think. Check in later, Happy Hunting!
