Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good Evening all. We are on station at the worksite about to preload for 24 hours. (preload) since we end up with a bunch of deck equipment and need to run the 500 ton crane, we take on a max amount of salt water into our tanks to push our legs and pads into the seafloor till we hit a layer that will support our max expected load plus a 20% margin. Gonna be a good evening after we clear one drain.

also not sure if I mentioned but should be in Indy on the 13th of December for PRI and then headed to Louisville for Saturday to pick up the 72 Torino Station Wagon. anyone in the are that wants to say hi would love to meet in person.
Got to be in New Orleans for classes for work on Monday the 16th.

A Shepard and a Mal in the house. Nothing under fifty pounds is safe within a couple hundred yards of this place. Skunks,n squirrel rabbits and woodchuck you name it they chase it down. Plus the occasional bird that is not accustomed to the jumping ability of a Mal. These guys can spot a cat in the pasture from a long way off. I dread the day they tangle with our pair of resident bobcats. But I think the bobcats would just get treed. They are reclusive. Our boy wants to smoke the bobcat because it spooked his wife last year while she was squirrel hunting. I have explained repeatedly he was just being a Bobcat doing Bobcat things. He gets a bobcat pass!
Years ago, I was deer hunting. Sitting off a trail wooded area a cold day with a nice snow falling. From about 50 yards I spot a Bobcat slinking down the trail towards me. I sit there like a tree and thought how close do I let it get?? At about 10 yards I did a small flinch, and it froze in its tracks. I flinched again and it was gone. A cool experience!! Yep, they'll avoid us if they can.

351C or sumthin more fun?

It's 9:33 a.m. here in Sunny tropical Saigon. Waiting for my driver to come and get me in about 2 hours. He should meet me around 11:30 or 12:00. I think I'll go out in front of the hotel at the cafe and drink a few beer in anticipation of getting to my Southern City

I just scored on a bid buy a PSA 7 1968 signed Johnny Bench rookie card. Cards are scored 1-10 and a 7 is hard to find and cost a few $$. I just bought a 1968 complete card set so this addition only increases the value of the set. Since I plan on holding on to it for a few years it will only increases in value. Currently baseball cards especially higher rated cards are increasing in value 20-30% a year win win!!

Gran Torino? We had a 302,3 speed on column, manual steering, power front disc brakes and A/C. Passed my drivers test with that car. Oh yeah, woodgrain also. Gran Torino Squire.

It is the last car to pick up for a while. I am looking forward to working on some metal replacement on the 66 Dart and 70 Super Bee we call the Zom-Bee this time at home. Would like to permanently re-attach the roof structure and the quarters on the Bee.
