Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning all a cold blustery New Year's Eve Day here. Chery's headed out early to go visit her 101-year-old aunt. It's a two and a half hour trip each way. Just a quick visit she says be back this afternoon. I'm staying behind doing some errands and packing. We're going out to dinner with friends and be home before it gets too crazy out there. Have a great day and be safe.

Going down to Vancouver on Sunday to visit son and go take a look at that Ramcharger, not bringing Suburban as I think the price is more than I'm wanting to pay but haven't seen what's out there so this is a start.

I started building a truck. 1968 short bed stepside. I have had the truck for 25 years and haven't had it on the road for a long time. We shoe horned a 440 in it yesterday

Morning!
Not too bad for this time of year, but deep freeze is on the way. Need to put 24 behind me, and hope 25 is better.
Guess today is the official start of the Lincolnstang project.

My nephew is pushing it. I was tired of manual steering so we set the cab on a 1986 long bed frame. It is surprising how close the cab mounts match

You need some diamond plate, or 1/4" flat plate for the bed?

Remember everything is a mock up so I can build the mounts I need but here is a picture. This isn't the engine going in either . It is so far in the back we used the one sitting close. but it fits well. But they did come with 383's

Tike the truck site sometimes sells mounts for the RB from the warlocks, decent priced also. Not sure if they are the same.
