No, it doesn’t. Only excess liquid droplets of oil can be sucked off. Oil impregnated cotton fibers won’t release the oil and will retain the dirt passed by them until they reach their filratation capacity.
Oil does not evaporate and won’t be sucked out. It is physically impossible.
