Well Chit man/brother !! why didn't we get together for a few laughs, you are always welcome here

Another trivia fact about my Valiant wagon, the guy used it as his fishing car.... He was a fisherman like you...

He also had a 74 or 75 Monaco with a 360 for his DD.... I was trying to get my friend to buy that one as it was in pretty good condition, but he didn't.... It would have made a great Blues Brother's bluesmobile replica like this one....

What is the difference? A hoop is a hoop
Cool.

I'm looking for an original 1930s to 1960s actual basket hoop. We had one on our barn from when my grandfather was a kid that got destroyed when the side of the barn got ripped off a few years back. Haven't been able to find one since

Are you talking about the ones on a pole or sometimes mounted off the garage roof....

There's one on a pole at the house across the street from me... The old neighbor died and the house was just sold... The new owners are going to tear down the old house and build another house on the property... They may knock it over soon, they just had a tree service in there Thurs and Friday cutting down a bunch of trees....

If you want it, better get it now or it may disappear any day...

I would expect the wicker would be long gone...

Ummm, like everything else, I would expect a much heavier piece of USA made steel vs a piece of barely adequate chinesium...
Yes but I have the basket already

Either or would work. Have to see a picture to make sure it's the right one

I would guess 70s. backboard looks like fiberglass

That could be very possible... Their sons were grown up and moved out by the mid-late 70's....

I don't think that it's been used since... Maybe when his grand kids came to visit...

Good start to my planishing hammer.
