that was easy...a bit of time on the lathe for the adjustable parts and an anvil.

Im so excited to hopefully get a rough estimate tomorrow on getting the needed rustrepairs done to my Duster!
And to have jumped from a 10feet tower into water enough times today to have stoped being bothered at all by that height. Good time!
And actualy got a few odds and ends sold that makes things possible.

Sounds like fun.
I had water dumped on me from a few thousand feet today. Does that count for anything?

Sure does count,it counts for cutting down on the risk for forrestfires substantialy:)

Where's @ Ddaddy ? Looks like he may have gone to hospital. I think that was his last post. Hope they're getting him fixed up. Probably getting an IV of garlic :D

Hope all is well there.

Good evening, looks like the Fury will make a road trip to Sarasota again. Or someplace. Getting prepared for the hurricane. You want to leave early, because after the governor orders evacuation, they make you take the evacuation route to Aiken, SC. Trying not to get anxious about it because in the grand scheme it is not that big a deal.

Greetings Chris, how is your family vacation going?
Good for the most part. Almost all the Gulf side beaches between Miami and Destin are closed due to red tide and bacterias, the east coast from Miami north to Jacksonville closed this morning due to the rip tides from the approaching hurricane. But we found a private salt lake that is clean and just twenty minutes away.

So pretty good overall

That's good to hear, a long time coming for you I know. I am not familiar with the part of the state where you are, it looks like you have found a secret place. I know you are happy you did not come here! At least though if you evacuated you would be going back home. Dang hurricane needs to stay out to sea but the computer models are saying it will make landfall.

I'd rather be there, I'm gonna have to drive through it I believe

I just talked to Dave. He is home under a doctor's care. If things improve he won't have to hang out at the hospital. Get well my friend.

How's your repaving program going?

Here's one I'm watching close as its right in front of the driveway where I rent a garage. No sticks in this one. Only the most modern and high tech for this one.
Did you know plastic floats?

Here's one that's finished.
Don't laugh. I drive on this street every time I drop off the election results.
:rolleyes::D
