Storing center section

Very soon I am getting my center section swapped out and want to place the center section that is coming out into some sort of storage container. I see they have these fancy containers for Ford 9". Does anyone make one for the 8 3/4 rears? Did some searching couldn't find anything. This rear will be used in my next project but won't be done for a while. I'd rather it not just sit on the floor or any ideas for temporary storage (temporary could be a few years)? Thanks. Dan

Use like a 2.5 gallobn bucket and it sits perfectly upside down in it

I have mine in a cleaned out drywall mud bucket. Just put it in there with some gear lube residue still on it and snap the top on.

Wrapping it tightly in a heavy plastic garbage bag or any suitable thick plastic before you drop it in the bucket will keep dust and moisture from getting inside on the gears and bearings. Gear lube is a major dust magnet.

I can not see it in a 2.5 gallon bucket. I have quite a few stored in 5 gallon one's
