That look is awesome....I want to do that....I am so jealouse....i wonder what my 69 valiant would look like all jacked up like that...so you would use a stock steering box???? I see the long drag link/center link, it looks like my dads 77 dodge pick up steering set up can't really tell.....

Like this.....?

This was my first car back in the 70's....'67 Satellite, 383, 727, Offy tunnel w/2 500 Holley's, Sig Erson cam.

I cranked up the bars (could've gone a little higher), and removed the upper bumpstops. Used air shocks with shock extensions in the rear. Got the odd "thud" when the suspension topped out, but drove rather well. (Not a rally car, for sure!) Ahh...the old days!....sniff! I kinda miss that car.

(Please, no wisecracks about the fashion, eh??)...LOL

Spring Fling? Always!

Gotta preach the altered gospel.... As always, we'll keep the hood closed.

The '66 Charger in the background was originally bought by my father as the family hauler. My Mom got it in the divorce and drove it for several years until she had an accident in it. I repaired it and drove it for sometime before selling it. It was a factory 383/727 car. Went on lots of fun fishing/camping trips with my Dad in it (sleeping in the back).

Thanks for asking.

Thats cool, my dad had a 67 318 wide block...I often heard these were called a canadian wide block..was this true..he sold it in 1997 for 1500.00 I cried....Sad to see it go...I loved turning on the dash lights at night..looked like an airplane, w/ all the little lights really cool car's

Those were actually called "318 Poly" engines, because of the polyspherical shaped combustion chambers. You probably got "Canadian 318" because in the US, the poly motor was dropped after '67, but continued on in Canada 'til '69 in B + C bodies.
