Strange code on 1969 Barracuda convertible fender tag

I recently looked at a 1969 Barracuda convertible with a C14 code on the fender tag. All the decoders I have found say C14 is "rear shoulder belts". What exactly does that mean? Has anyone ever seen another 1969 Barracuda with this code?
 
The code is on the third line from the bottom, si it is not the date code. Does anyone have a picture of the option installed in a car.
 
Only pics of shoulder belts in early verts I have seen were found in sales brochures. I feel certain that option was sold to someone. Good luck finding pics of them.
 
C13 is the shoulder belts and they were an option for the convertible. I have seen one picture of them and they come from the back seat to the front seat. Needless too say they had to be a pia for anyone in the back seat. C14 shows NA so maybe the tag is another misprint.

Post the remaining fender tag stuff. I have never seen a 69 with rear shoulder belts. Not even sure how that would work in a convertible.

Would not work to well in a rag top. Lol!!!!

Does not look real functional- and as was said... a pain for any passengers in the rear seat.
This might get more response/feedback in the Convertible Forum.

How about the 2yr old sittin in the front seat with a lap belt????
We sure have come a long way... thank God

In 1969 the child would not even had the lap belt on. He would have been standing in the seat by his mother! The belts would have been pushed into the seat out of the way.
 
Good old lap belts...
had 2 very good buddies lose their front teeth to the steering wheel back in HS (late 70's).
