Found pics of my old high school car, out in the sticks were I grew up.

1957 210, GM Performance crate 350/330hp, Muncie 4 speed, posi, Impala SS bucket seats.

Did everything myself on the cheap, car was a burnout beast.
A friend worked at GM, got me that performance crate 350 for $1,100!
Rebuilt the original 57 posi, pulled the Muncie/clutch/bell out of a junkyard car.
The Muncie donor car was on top of 2 vans, so fairly easy to pull it all out.

Who didn't love Dunlop Radial G/T Qualifiers!
Best tires I ever owned, never wore down.

I wish I could find pictures of the old speed shop we had in the Mojave Desert :lol:
One side was a Schwinn bike shop with a model of every Schwinn available.
The other side was a limited display of the high performance auto parts, some of which he kept in the back room.
On the counter next to the register was a catalog about 8" thick nothing but speed parts.
4 or 5 days from the catalog to the store for that mail order stuff. :D
