Me and my bud. We used to race each other in time trials for the brackets.

Duster was a stock 340/auto/323 w/only a 471" hemi grind cam and 273 rockers.
Mine was a all stock 396-325/4spd/4.10's with a ton of tuning.

Our best run together was, me a 13.98@97 an he went 14.01@100. And our track in Maryland was close to sea level.

Sorry to do too much posting on a pic thread Keith, but it just reminded me of how much we had a blast back then.

It looks like a 409 in it by the fender emblems and he's checking to see if it has a posi in it...
It also looks like his head is in the wheel house, a bad choice with only a bumper jack holding it up.
Nice car though!

I thought he was putting on a spare tire and she was holding the brake pedal so he could tighten the lug nuts. THEN I saw the uncapped exhaust. White wall recapped slicks?
