street intake

All,

I am looking for a good streetable intake for a 273 and 318 all stock, with dual exhaust. Both have Edelbrock 4106 4bbl electronic choke. 273 is in a 65 Signet 904 auto, 8 3/4 rear 3.21 gears. 318 is in a Truck D100 727 8 3/8 rear unknown gears..

I have a dominator on the 318 which does ok. Seems like there should be more torque.

273 has a Weiand semi hi rise.

Both are single plane intakes...

What is the difference between dual plane and single plane?

The best bet is to look at the Edelbrock website and look up the Performer and the TorkerII to see the differences.
