Got the stroker together after waiting 4 months for roller lifters (thanks Comp Cams!)-dropped it in and got it running-heard a tapping sound from the front of the motor-thought it was the dipstick hitting the crank-decided to take it down the road for gas-got about a mile, heard a loud clicking, then it locked up. Towed it home, pulled the top half-everything looked good. Pulled the oil pan-windage tray was shredded and had 2 pieces wedged into the crank, which I was able to get out and there was no further damage. Anyone had this problem with 340 strokers? Here's a few pics before the shredding....
