I tried doing the search and found nothing just curious if anyone has tried or heard of someone using a set of the stromberg 97's or the holley 94's instead of the single four.

i have never seen an adapter. both those carbs use a three bolt flange. you could probaly make one. did you know edelbrock is makin' a brand new 94?

Build a Ford flathead. Problem solved. LOL

Look up Speedway Motors , they have lots of cool odd stuff and may have adapters.

Ive seen the adapators, something different. Just wondering how the performance was of the two compared to a single four. Sorry the flathead is out for now.

Yeah, the flatty would kinda be an expensive adapter for some carburetors. lol

if your lucky you could find a Mopar big block eddy intake that needs 6........ strombergs, like mine... pretty rare:read2:

I appreciate all the comments but still no input on the performance or lack thereof on these. Anyone??

I think the one that said something about swapping in a flathead was the closest to the answer you are looking for.

Search for a flathead forum and see what they are using and the performance/flow numbers they are getting. You can always make a 94 or Stromberg fit. The adapter is the easy part.

But simple answer is no. I haven't heard of any Holley 94 or Strombergs used on a slant. Seems like old technology to me. Tuned 2 and 4 barrels, Webers, EFI, etc are moving forward. Little singles just seem like a move in the wrong direction. (however I am sure that it will run on them just fine with some work)

Along my flathead comment, why not ask around some flathead forums and see? While it wouldn't be on a Mopar, you might could get an idea. Just a thought.

Well, I'm still sitting here scratching my head wondering why you would want to do that. Stromberg's are very expensive and tend to leak when pressure is not regulated. the Holley's ain't cheap either! You know they only flow at about 150 cfm so your going to need a few of them. Is 300 cfm enough for a slant??

Are you liking this idea because of the way they look? Do you have a few sitting around that you want to use?

I did some hunting for you and came up with this........

hope that helps. \\:D/

Thanks for the input. I was just looking for something a little different but looks like they wont work without some alterations. Looks like the single 4 is going to do.
