strut rod/ driveshaft/ sbp hub comparison pictures 67-72 vs 73-up

these items get a lot of questions-- especially the strut rods-- I have pictures of the 67-72 style

the 73-up style have a coarse thread & are different length than the 67-72 style.
the hubs compare 10" drum brake early style vs later style-- I do not know the year of the change-over -- but early style 10' drum brakes do not interchange with the later style -- check it out;early style on top row

Finally the drive shafts are from a 73 dart sport 318/ 904 car (candy cane style)7.25 rear
& a 75 duster with a 225/904 w 8.25 rear
I thought it was interesting that the duster has a longer driver shaft-- is all.

If you had the same rear end and a 904 in the car, would the driveshaft length be different if you had a slant six vs. small block?

On the same car it will be the same length.
