My Dodge diesel pickup is sitting in the garage with a full tank and will be for a while. I get it out and run it a lap out the interstate to keep it from growing shut, but otherwise I drive the Dakota or the Honduh Civic.
Put some additive in the fuel.Diesel get algae(sp)in it

Thanks Tony......I have put it in it pretty much since I bought it new. I replace the fuel filter every other oil change too. I've also let it idle down for a few minutes before shutting it off.
Depends on the BS after my wife gets operated on I'm. May the recovers were comming to Myrtle Beach.I probably won't recognize anything. Myrtle Beach has changed a bunch since 80. We have a camper set up permanently there and go a lot during warm weather. Murrells Inlet does still have great seafood. Good news is they built Hwy 31 N&S that runs parallel to 17. It's like an interstate, and gets you out of the traffic on 17 if you're trying to go way north or south to eat.

Thanks for sharing your adventures. I've got a lot of respect for truckers, because I definitely wouldn't have the patience to do what you do. I see it all the time -- motorists zipping around truckers or cutting them off, passing on the right, etc etc. Stay safe out there.

Loaded this Western Star Saturday outside Albany NY. Took hours to load and secure. Snow was coming down so freakn' fast i was constantly shoveling and having to move around my securement/tools and dunnage so I wouldn't loose it under the snow.
I try to stay out of the snow.When I was younger I loved it.

Hung out in Pompano Beach Florida with friends.One of them works at Emerald Towing(His Family)and I rode around with him and saw a few accidents.This one was in a 25mph zone..lol
I'm in Bryon GA broke Down.I can't find it but I think my Charge air cooler has a leak. losing power and no throttle response. It takes the turbo a long time to build boost!But the engine sounds fine.I got the oil changed earlier along with the airfilter and it didn't help

I'm already at a place and it's my Charge air cooler.Im at super8 exit 149 on I 75.Freightliner has a back order so I'm getting a aftermarket it will be here hopefully by lunch tomorrow. I didnt look on here till now.Thanks for the thought
