What about Kelly-Springfield, Dunlop, Hankook, Kumho, or Cooper-Roadmaster? Do you run caps?

Honestly...I would choose Doublecoin in a second over Michelin.

I doubt you put more weight on a tire than many trucks I have seen running caps. (73,000 on a 10-wheeler or 101K on a tri-axle.) The dump trailers my company used ran caps...IIRC, they grossed 105K (5 axles & usually 16 caps).

Also: running the numbers, the Doublecoin tires will cost the least per mile.
 
The last 2loads suck but the next one is from LaSale PQ to the Port of Baltimore, The mexican and oriental circus is going over seas!
 
Picked up in LaSalle Parish and took sum terlits to the port of Baltimore so the Cinque pepole would have their own bathroom in south America
