Stupid question, sorry

So, after reading lots of threads here, I see that a lot of guys mini tub their rides...what is the point of this? Is this something that is logical for a daily driver with lots of horsepower, or is it more of just a drag racing thing?

Both, it's just max. tire clearance without fully tubbing the car for monster slicks. You can stuff a preety big tire in a mini tub.

325/50/15s and they are an extremely tight fit. Had to trim the fender lip and I have about a 1/2" on each side with no rubbing. Good thing I have a panhard bar. :-D

Here,s a pic of my 66 Dart witha 15x7 rim with 255/60/15,you can see how much more room there is for more meat now after minitub and 3 inch spring relocation.:cheers:
