Sub 9.9 seat question

I am changing up some bars in my car and am going to change my seat. Before I spend money that I don't really have on a 55 series kirkey I was wondering if anyone uses a Polyethylene style double wall seat like a Jegs 555-70250? Is this seat OK for a chassis certified car?

They are “ok”…… but now you have me thinking about the age of mine. Time doesn’t seem to treat that material well.

My street/strip Dart runs 110 in the 1/8 and almost 135 in the 1/4. I'd rather take my chances in an aluminum seat than plastic were something to go wrong.

I like my Kirkey. The plastic is ok I guess. What I do like is my Kirkey will not ad to a fire like the plastic ones.
