Subframe Connectors part II

Just curious, I used plain 2" box tube front to rear and just welded to subframe(s).
what are those "Batman wings " on the far end of your connectors? Arnold

the batman wings give you something to c-clamp to the frame before tack welding in place, give you more length of weld and the ears can be bent if needed to fill gaps if there are alignment issues. All things i noticed would help when i welded my first set without them into my car. Not really necessary though...

I just rolled the Dart outta the garage yesterday and put the 69 Cuda in so I could trial fit mine.Very nice part for the money and its made right here in the USA.
