Super Six install pics

WOW! There's less grease 'n' grime on that Slant than on my STOVE!
 
i have also done the conversion and now my points start to basically melt after 3 or 4 days. im guessing electronic ignition is a must once you have the super six set up. has anyone else have that problem??

You've got something else going on. The super six should have no effect on that.
 
Sounds like your ballast resistor isn't in the circuit or is bad/bypassed in some way.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the condenser prevent, or at least slow down, the pitting/burning of points? Are you using a condenser?
