I purchased a pair of Super Stock springs for my 1969 'Cuda. Since the car is missing it's original big block I am using a 340 with the 4-speed. I have heard good and bad about the Super Stock springs on the street. With my motor and Trans should I bother changing them? If I did change the springs should I hold onto the originals in case a purist wants to have them with the car?

Depends on what your Street use will be.Not the best for corner carving but normal driving they are fine.I always keep the original parts. As soon as I let something go within a month I end up needing it.

I say hold onto them. I held onto my old ones so I could put them back on my Duster before I sold it and use the SS springs on my Barracuda. Now that I'm going with a ladder bar suspension, I'll save them for another car.

Sounds good guys! I appreciate the advice. Too bad the old lady hates me having old car parts laying around. That's what the attic is for right?!
