Super Victor port matching

-
I run a completely untouched Super Victor. When you look down the plenum, the head ports line up about perfectly hence left it untouched. But I'm sure some roof blending and runner entry work would benefit it. Someday!!
Does the S.V. clear the hood or did it need to be cut?

Reason I say that…..
Good local buddy has a bad arse black 72 Cuda, super lightweight chassis car.
Currently runs high 7’s/ 4.90’s with a stout big block.
Years ago he had a small block B1BA deal in it, roller, etc.
Well scienced out, ran 9.04-9.07 all the time with a Victor.
He swapped a super Victor on it, slowed down to 9.15-9.17

The avatar has a 6-pack hood with a 5" tall air filter element. The air filter fits up into the scoop.

Now I believe (no proof) that a drop base air cleaner and maybe a 2-1/2" tall filter would go under a stock hood. I bet others on here could weigh in with better confirmation.

Thanks. I figure it won't fit. I have a QA1 K frame now, not sure if it allows the engine to sit lower or not but I doubt it.

I had this setup which cleared no problem but it's not great on the street.
