Any body using these? Tips and mufflers together??? Genius... :banghead:

They have a strange sound when you try to tighten them up to quiet them down. They work great on motorcycles but our testing showed that, even though they worked pretty well to get quiet or loud, they just had sort of a hissy sound when you restricted them. Make sense when you see how they work.

My brother uses both flowmaster mufflers and Supertraps. Sounds pretty good, but I think it's too quiet for a 440 6 pack.

Motorcycles can use then to tune the powerband with the addition or subtraction of diffuser discs. Their powerband is much narrower than ours so we dont get much from them. They look a little strange on a car unless its a 4 pack out the middle of the bumper Vette style, but still looks kinda alien.

If you put a lot of disks in, they aren't very restrictive to flow or noise, and they sound like glasspacks. If you take out enough disks for them to start restricting noise, they are also restricting flow, and the sound like corked up glasspacks.
