Ok, I have a couple of questions. All of my questions are referring to A-bodies from 67-72.

With an original 340 car, swapping to a 440, does the K-frame have to be changed?
Can 440 torsion bars be added to the car without changing the lower control arms?
Does the suspension need to be beefed up at all to handle the extra weight?
Does anyone make small bolt pattern front disc brakes in order to convert away from the drums?

No.......you can get conversion mounts
Yes.....they slip right in
No......but stiffer torsion bars would be a plus
Yes.....Chrysler made them those years.

after there any aftermarket companies that make stock reproduction small bolt pattern disc setups?

None that I'm aware of. You can get rebuilt calipers, new pads, rotors, seals, ball joints, lines, hoses, and bearings at the auto parts stores or online but spindles, hubs, pad retainers, brackets, and backing plates aren't repoped as far as I know.
