Swinger emblem on 69

Anyone have any input on why some 69's had Swinger on the quarter? Mine has them and I have only seen a few more. It is stripe delete. Here is a pic, they are the 4 post emblems. Thanks

That emblem was on 70's and up, not 69's.

I am the 3rd owner of this car and have pics of the car only a few years old with the emblems. I actually talked to Tony from Tony's Parts and he said because of the late in the year production and stripe delete, these were more than likely from the factory.

Ive never seen them on any 69.....Not saying its impossible just didnt think they did.

I bought a 69 swinger new in Sept. of 69. It had a sticker, not an emblem, on the front fender.
