How much work would it take to put early 70's E-body buckets into a 65 with bucket seats now? I would like to have seats with head rest for safety when cruising around. Could you just switch the brackets (tracks) from one to another? Just giving it some thought for potential winter project. I've seen some universal bracketing, not sure how well that would work.

If you have a welder and a sawzall, and a few hand tools, Drill, you can put any seats in any car. Just have to Fab brackets. My 66 Dart has seats from a 2007 Ford Taurus.

IMO, the E-body buckets might look a little out of scale in an early A.
I mocked up a driver's side into my 68 FormulaS clone and when I stepped back, I didn't like it. I ended up with a pair from an older RX-7
