Tach Trouble

I am fixing a 63 Plymouth Valiant with a 273 and was goin to try the HEI Disb.and its a complete ready to run just plug 12 volt wire to it,And i was wondering where you hook your tach up to it.Because coil and everything is one unit all made together.Thanks for any help.......

Is it the big cap GM style ? if so the cap should have a plug in marked "Tach"

Whatever you have to do to connect to the coil negative side with the tach signal wire.

No its the small cap not enough room for the big one.....

Its just the negative coil trigger wire. run tach off neg side of coil. MSD has a dedicated terminal because if you run it off the tach, youll see multiple spark events under 3000 RPM.
