Hi everyone,
New guy here. Been a lurker, but not a poster. Anyway, we rescued a 1970 Dart 4 door custom, slant six, column shift three speed stick. Got her on the road, running and driving pretty good. However, we have a vibration in the driveline over speeds of 60. Installed new u joints. Helped, but not enough. New tires, new suspension; definitely driveline. Pulled the driveshaft again, and looked at the yoke closer. She's all chewed up on the outside. Suspect problem is the tailshaft bushing. Does anybody know if the tailshaft bushing for an A-903 is the same as an A-904? I certainly hope so, as I am finding NOTHING out there.

Thanks,
Tim north of Detroit.

Tim, I cant say I've heard of a 903, but a 904 is very familiar. Grab the numbers off the pan rail on the drivers side & post them here. We should be able to id your trans & tell exactly what you have.
Check this picure for the ID Stamping. Your's may start with PK instead of J
