The bumpers from AMD are excellent, not thin metal like the early ones were.
 
I got my rear bumper yesterday and front is showing up Friday. Rear looks great.

However... I ordered a front valence at the same time and they said they ran out of stock and could not offer it at 50 percent off. They could drop ship from AMD for 10 off, but I didn't feel like fighting them. I just got a refund. I'm a long ways away from needing a front valence. I didn't think about Summit matching their prices, that would have been perfect.

Funny thing, the valance was in stock when I place my order also. The rear bumper however was not in stock and I made a phone call the next day and they fill that order and the front bumper no problem. So it's very odd.

She did tell me that they lost the order originally for the front valance and that's why they had to cancel it which kind of didn't make sense because I ordered the valance the same time I ordered the front bumper.

They lost my order also. I ordered a front valance also and it was in stock. Now its not

Did you guys call in your order or place it online?
 
She said the sale was to blow out old inventory. II probabl could pushed back and got either the 50 percent as promised and had them drop ship it from AMD or had them somehow show the cheaper price in the cart so I could have Summit price match.

Didn't really feel like arguing.

Ooops!!! They sent the wrongs parts. Supposed to be a gas tank, straps and j bolts. Sheesh
 
Wish I would have bought bumper bolts! Went to take off old bumper. Had to cut 2 rusted bolts off. So ordered new ones last night from AMD

I was just thinking about that. I think my chrome ones are in pretty good shape. We'll see against the chrome. LoL
 
Ordered my bumper on late Friday night December 30th, arrived on Friday January 7th at the end of the day... By Saturday morning, the factory bumper bolts came right off without any oil, and the new bumper was back on. Picture shows it side by side with my OEM bumper (they ARE the same size and weight as the original) Very happy with the quality of the AMD! This is the only sheet metal I've replaced on my H-code, original paint basket case Demon!

Got my order, I couldn't believe it. Best deal of my build so far. Although the side markers i ordered got cancelled, even though they're instock on eBay still?? But the harness was my main goal, so I'm happy!
