I am trying to get me driveline in my 72 Val. I bought a TCI converter. Went to install it a few moments ago. I cant get it to take a quart of fluid down the snout :violent1: . I pour it in, and it just sets there. I let it sit for about 20 min to see if it was just slow going in, but no change. I am normaly a 4-speed guy, I have put converters in many trans but this is getting me crazy. any suggestions. Oh yeh, this converter has no drain port on it like others I have seen. Car info. 72 val built 360, built 904, 3:91 8.75 rear.

Im not sure what the answer is....... but I would try a few cranks on the starter motor and then check the level and see if it went down, as a start..The times Ive filled an empty trans Ive had to run the motor to get the level to drop, but I was able to get 3-4 quarts in first before running it.
