After a trans for my 360 which has been balanced, 10.9-1 comp, Crane cam 495 lift, mild porting on J heads with 2.02 inlet 1.60 exhaust & around 330-350rwhp. Going in 1973 Dart with 3.50-1 rear & 26inch street slicks.

This is a weekend street/racer so I want auto & manual modes & looking at around 3000-3500 stall.

The box's I'm looking at are TCI StreetFighter, B & M Street & strip or Hughes Street Strip, now a 904 is what is in the Dart now so a 904 is what I have looked at or should I go 727 & if I do what do I need to change? Which one is the best alround box?

The stalls I looking at are TCI StreetFifgter 3500stall, Huges streetstrip 35 series 3500stall & a boos hog street bandit 3500stall now do I go 11 inch or 10 inch.

Whats the differance in 10 inch or 11 inch other than size?
Has anyone used any of these box's & how do they go?
Cheers

Run the 904.

Are you mechanically inclined. The 904 is easy to rebuild with some basic tools, good kit ~$100 and a service guide ($45).

I have a Hughes 10" 3500 that seems to work pretty well.

Personally I wouldn't buy a rebuilt trans or convertor from TCI or B&M.

Do all my own spanner work just stopped at auto box's.
Is there a problem with TCI or B & M rebuilt box's or convertors?
What the slipage on the Hughes 10"?

See Martin Saine for a TC and trans, stay away from that junk you got listed there....

As you can see I'm in Australia & I 'm thinking of importing the listed box's.

Has Martin Saine got a web address or email that I can contact him on?

I'd go with a 904, properly built it will handle just about anything you put in front of it as stated before stay away from that b.m. tci junk..as for a converter give Lenny at ultimate a call he'll build ya' exactely what you need www.ultimateconverter.com
