tell me if i'm right on about this 8 3/4

ok so i'm going by to possibly buy a 8 3/4 tonight. it's complete drum to drum with 4.10's and sure grip...

so i can tell if it's got sure grip if i turn the drums and both spin the same way. correct?

and for the gears i turn the drums once all the way around and the diff yoke should spin just a tad more then 4 times. correct?

and also i don't recall seeing any shock mounts in the pics, if they aren't included am i able to buy them new if i can't pick them up used?

correct on both. have him through in the mounts and u-bolts.

that's right on,a little less than 4 turns will be 3:91 a lil' more than 3 and a half will be 3:55's 3 and a 1/4 turn is 3:23's.if it is an open rear keep one drum from turning and count the turns then times two will get you the ratio

ok so the guy doesn't have the shock mount brackets....i've seen some place sell them but can't recall who....any ideas?

Mancini's sell shock mounts and I see them advertised on the classifieds on this board once in awhile and I see them on E-bay all the time. Not hard to find.
