organzing the trunk of a 66 coronet cleaned and removed surface rust applied rust neutralizer to worst area does the jack and tire iron go in this plastic bag what is the hook on drivers side for where does the jack go

That bag does not appear to be a factory item. The jack should slip into some brackets on the side where the hoop is. The hoop is for the tire iron.

I think the jack goes as stated above, into some brackets, then a small spring will hook into the lifting eye and the hoop on the floor. Hand jack it until it is tight against the spring and that holds it in place.

my hook eye is facing quarter panel this was an early build oct9 65

found spring got all the stuff looks like they used 2 different springs and systems in 66
