My temperature gauge isn't working even though I bought a new sender and installed it into the manifold. I checked for blown fuses, couldn't find any. What could be the problem?

perhaps your voltage regulator, or the gauge itself is bad perhaps, have u tested the gauge? how about all the wires are they all good

I have not checked the voltage regulator or the gauge itself. I looked and all wires seemed okay. How do I check the regulator and gauge?

simply grounding the wire at the sensor end should bring the gauge all the way hot...
if not you have a wire problem or a guage problem...if it was the regulator you would have other gauge problems as well...

PS

factory gauges are notoriously inaccurate...good time to put in a nice autometer

True, very true. I'm thinking of using this dash assembly and inserting some Autometer's while I'm at it.
